Gallery 294 is currently showcasing the works of Karen Balderson under the banner of "Journeys" This will be from the 6th right through till the 30th of June. Here is a snippet of what Karen has to say on the works. Some of my mandalas depict a day’s journey, others a number of weeks or some, several seasons in a year. While the majority of my photographic collages relate to my own journeys, I also experiment with ways of creating mandalas which reflect some of my ancestor’s journeys.
