The members exhibition Black and White and... has been extended to the end of August 31st. Below are just some of the works being shown. Of course the exhibition is not all that is on show at the moment and August is a great time to come and see some of the best work that the galley has on offer from giftware to winter woolies. The members have the floor with July being the "Black and White Plus One" exhibition. Here our members have been creative in getting a body of work together using only black and white and one other colour. Exhibiting all of July.
Gallery 294 is currently showcasing the works of Karen Balderson under the banner of "Journeys" This will be from the 6th right through till the 30th of June. Here is a snippet of what Karen has to say on the works. Some of my mandalas depict a day’s journey, others a number of weeks or some, several seasons in a year. While the majority of my photographic collages relate to my own journeys, I also experiment with ways of creating mandalas which reflect some of my ancestor’s journeys. It's always a proud moment to promote one of our own outside of the Gallery 294 art space.
