In a spirit of optimism, Corowa’s Gallery 294 re-opened on 11 September. Just before our last lockdown and forced closure, gallery member Barbara Pritchard had opened her exhibition “Burnt Offerings”, a collection of works reflecting on the effects of bushfire at her Walwa property in 2020. The exhibition has been extended to 9 October so that visitors can see these thought provoking works. Rutherglen artist Kerrie Ware will then open her new exhibition “Altered Perceptions”, which will run until the end of November. The gallery is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free at all times.
