The gallery has gone mad with spring colour. Our friends and members have put on quite the show with a riot of colour, pattern and mediums. The Spring Madness Exhibition will be on for the whole of September so please come and see us while the gallery is in full bloom.

Click here for details and application  Calling all Artists! Our very popular SPRING MADNESS ABSTRACT EXHIBITION is now open for entry. The exhibition will run from September 5th till 29th. Below is the link to the details and entry form. ENTRY FORM AND EXHIBITION DETAILS HERE  The members exhibition Black and White and... has been extended to the end of August 31st. Below are just some of the works being shown. Of course the exhibition is not all that is on show at the moment and August is a great time to come and see some of the best work that the galley has on offer from giftware to winter woolies. The members have the floor with July being the "Black and White Plus One" exhibition. Here our members have been creative in getting a body of work together using only black and white and one other colour. Exhibiting all of July.
Gallery 294 is currently showcasing the works of Karen Balderson under the banner of "Journeys" This will be from the 6th right through till the 30th of June. Here is a snippet of what Karen has to say on the works. Some of my mandalas depict a day’s journey, others a number of weeks or some, several seasons in a year. While the majority of my photographic collages relate to my own journeys, I also experiment with ways of creating mandalas which reflect some of my ancestor’s journeys. Realist Australian Landscapes from Tasmania to Northern Territory A selection of paintings by Les Waring 11th May – 4th June 2023 Opening and Artists talk Saturday 13th May 2.00pm – 4.00pm Unfortunately due to a decline in current membership we have had to drop a day in our opening hours. We would welcome anyone who is thinking of joining us to contact us. Until then we will be closed Wednesday and Thursday until further notice.
It's always a proud moment to promote one of our own outside of the Gallery 294 art space. This time is Glenda Mackay who we are celebrating being part of the "Build your home" exhibition at Albury's MAMA. This exhibition will be on until May 24th. click here for further details. After a wonderful opening our Small Works exhibition is up and running. It will continue until the end of April so please come down and see this wonderful collection of tasty little art work morsels. |
